Macros: 0P 13C 0F 4 fiber
Servings: 1
Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
5g psyllium husk
60g tart cherry juice (can also use cranberry)
Instructions:
To a jar, add the psyllium husk and tart cherry juice and stir.
After 2 minutes stir again so the psyllium doesn’t clump.
After 10 minutes it’s ready to eat! Adjust for more liquid if you like a thinner jam.
Add to toast with PB, yogurt parfaits, or oatmeal!
Notes:
Psyllium husk is a great soluble fiber supplement most people have to choke down in water. This is a great way to mix it into something enjoyable!
Psyllium husk sids in fullness, blood sugar stability and digestion.
Tart cherry juice helps with melatonin production and muscle soreness, as well as gut health.
Very Important: Anytime you take a supplement like this you need to also drink 8-10oz of water. It forms a gel to work and you don’t want it to feel like a brick in your stomach. Hydration is key while taking psyllium husk.
